Your Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at the Fresh Market. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
- Restock shelves, rotate stock, and maintain inventory levels to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and engaging shopping environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and meet customer needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move merchandise as needed.
