Solution Consultant for Presales Strategy

The Presales Solution Consultant serves as a key expert and advisor to our Global System Integrators (GSI) clientele. This newly formed team of consultants will enhance our capacity to collaborate with established GSIs to develop unique commercial solutions through sell-through, sell-with, and sell-to strategies. The Solutions Consultant will adopt a consultative approach, leveraging Lenovo's top-tier hardware, software, and services, while also integrating third-party technologies and partnerships to foster revenue growth and maintain solution relevance for Lenovo.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Established sales and solution relationships with Global Systems Integrators or consulting firms.
  • Significant experience in presales solutions and service design and delivery within technology OEMs or System Integrators.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with GSIs to drive revenue growth.
  • Experience in leading complex solution ideation, design, and client presentations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in IT sales or business and technology consulting.
  • Background in technology sales or architecture with enterprise technologies, including Business Continuity, High Availability Solutions, Enterprise Data Management, Multi-cloud architectures, and professional or managed services.
  • Proven ability to lead virtual teams within complex matrix organizations.
  • Exceptional presentation, proposal development, and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse geographies in a matrix environment.
  • A proactive personality that embraces innovation, integrates teams, drives results, and maintains a positive outlook in the face of ambiguity; you will champion the adoption of change and assist Lenovo and our clients in transitioning to a solution-oriented future.
  • Experience in facilitating customer workshops, seminars, and conferences as needed, with public speaking or media training preferred.
  • Candidates with a background in OEM and GSI business presales are highly desirable.
