The Presales Solutions Consultant serves as a specialist and advisor to our Global System Integrators (GSI) clientele. This newly formed team of consultants is designed to enhance our collaboration with existing GSIs, facilitating sell-through, sell-with, and sell-to strategies to develop unique commercial solutions. The Solutions Consultant will adopt a consultative methodology with clients, leveraging Lenovo's exceptional hardware, software, and services, while also incorporating third-party technologies and partnerships to foster revenue growth and maintain solution relevance for Lenovo.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Established sales and solution connections with Global Systems Integrators or consulting firms.
- Significant experience in presales solutions and service design within technology OEMs or System Integrators.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with GSIs to drive revenue growth.
- Experience in leading intricate solution ideation, design, and client presentations.
Required Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of experience in IT sales or business and technology consulting.
- Background in technology sales or architecture with enterprise technologies, including Business Continuity, High Availability Solutions, Enterprise Data Management, Multi-cloud architectures, and professional or managed services.
- Proven ability to lead virtual teams within complex matrix organizations.
- Strong presentation, proposal development, and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse geographies in a matrix structure.
- A proactive personality that embraces innovation, integrates teams, drives results, and maintains a positive outlook amidst ambiguity; committed to fostering change and guiding Lenovo and our clients towards a solution-oriented future.
- Experience in leading customer workshops, seminars, and conferences, with public speaking or media training preferred.
- Candidates with a background in OEM and GSI business presales are highly regarded.
