The role of the Solutions Presales Consultant involves acting as a knowledgeable advisor to our Global System Integrators (GSI) clientele. This newly formed team of consultants will enhance our capability to collaborate with established GSIs to facilitate sales strategies that yield unique commercial solutions. The Solutions Presales Consultant will adopt a consultative methodology, engaging with clients to leverage Lenovo's top-tier hardware, software, and services, while also incorporating third-party technologies and partnerships to foster revenue growth and ensure the relevance of solutions offered by Lenovo.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Established relationships in sales and solutions with Global Systems Integrators or consulting firms.
- Significant experience in presales solutions and service design and delivery within technology OEMs or System Integrators.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with GSIs to drive revenue growth.
- Experience in leading intricate solution ideation, design processes, and client presentations.
Required Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of experience in IT sales or business and technology consulting.
- Background in technology sales or architecture with enterprise technologies, including Business Continuity, High Availability Solutions, Enterprise Data Management, Multi-cloud architectures, and professional or managed services.
- Proven ability to lead virtual teams within complex organizational structures.
- Exceptional presentation, proposal development, and communication skills, adept at working across various geographies in a matrixed environment.
- A proactive mindset that embraces innovation, team integration, and outcome-driven strategies, with a positive approach to navigating ambiguity; you will champion the adoption of change and assist Lenovo and our clients in transitioning towards a solution-oriented future.
- Experience in leading customer workshops, seminars, and conferences as required, with a preference for candidates who are public speaking or media trained.
- Candidates with backgrounds in OEM and GSI business presales are highly preferred.
