Position Summary
The Industry Segment Specialist is accountable for the strategic advancement of the Industry Segment (IS) and Industry Cluster (IC) in alignment with the overarching corporate strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulates a national strategy for the Industry Segment/Industry Cluster.
- Oversees pricing policies and customer conditions in accordance with company guidelines and in collaboration with the IS Manager.
- Effectively manages strategic accounts to meet established sales objectives.
- Provides coaching and training to the team, including Sales Engineers, Application Engineers, National Key Account Managers, and IS Team Leader, in IS-related expertise.
- Contributes to the development and execution of marketing strategies tailored to the specific cluster.
- Assists the IS Team Leader, Sales Manager, and Management by supplying market insights and information.
- Responsible for gathering product requirements from the IS to inform the ISP.
Qualifications
- Technical Degree, Master's, or equivalent, preferably in business engineering, mechanical, electrical, electronic engineering, or mechatronics.
- Fluency in local language and English.
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, SharePoint, and Business Object.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience at Festo.
- Specialized knowledge in the relevant Industry Cluster/Segment.
- Understanding of customer and market dynamics within the Industry Segment and Cluster.
- Relevant experience as a Sales Engineer or National Key Account Manager.
