We are seeking a Inside Sales Manager - Central Cluster (m/f/d) to join us on a hybrid work arrangement.

Overview

Establishing a remote sales channel through Inside Sales is a pivotal initiative for BSC EMEA. Our goal is to provide an exceptional customer experience by fostering and maintaining robust relationships remotely, while also expanding into currently under-explored market segments.

Role Purpose

The Inside Sales Manager will oversee the daily operations of the inside sales team. This position focuses on coaching, process enhancement, and skill development for Inside Sales representatives. The role reports directly to the EMEA Inside Sales Director.

This position is part of the Healthcare Services & Alliance central team and will work closely with divisional stakeholders. Under the general guidance of the EMEA Leader, this role will manage stakeholder relationships and coordinate across multiple divisions within the designated region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage performance metrics for Inside Sales teams
  • Conduct weekly assessments of actual sales versus targets and develop action plans based on these evaluations.
  • Organize team motivation and performance enhancement sessions regularly.
  • Monitor process metrics daily and manage work planning.
  • Facilitate weekly sales reviews utilizing Sales Cloud (our Customer Relationship Management system) and Tableau (our Reporting and Analytics platform) to analyze customer interactions, franchise distribution, and sales activities per account.
  • Recruit and onboard new Inside Sales Representatives.
  • Promote the implementation and adoption of technology platforms within the team.
  • Address and escalate any Sales Cloud & IT-related issues.
  • Collaborate with divisional managers to establish effective partnerships.
  • Present Inside Sales models to internal stakeholders and support their implementation.
  • Lead change management initiatives.
  • Influence divisional stakeholders towards optimized processes, account selection, target setting, and best practices in leveraging Inside Sales.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven people management capabilities
  • Expertise in sales management and coaching
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team to achieve exceptional results
  • Previous experience in an Inside Sales setting, preferably within regulated industries such as healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals
  • Familiarity with best practices in an Inside Sales supervisory role is highly advantageous
  • Skills in recruiting, developing, and retaining talent
  • Capability to navigate a complex matrix environment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Determination and resilience
  • Project leadership abilities
  • Direct experience with CRM tools in Inside Sales
  • Proficiency in English and German
