Position Overview: Head of Sales / Branch Manager

Company: Fischer HRM GmbH
Role: As the Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in steering the growth and market presence of our operations in Japan. This position requires a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to lead our local branch effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Development and Sales Strategy:
• Formulate and execute strategic plans to enhance market share in Japan.
• Utilize innovative sales techniques to engage customers and drive revenue growth.
• Conduct technical consultations to identify customer needs and deliver customized solutions.

Team Leadership:
• Oversee and mentor the local sales team, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
• Implement efficient processes to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages professional growth.

Reporting and Liaison:
• Act as the primary communication link between the Japanese branch and the headquarters in Germany.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance and market insights.

Candidate Profile:
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent vocational training.
  • Experience in sales of technically advanced products, preferably in the machine tool sector.
  • Established network within the industry and a solid understanding of market dynamics.
  • Leadership experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Fluency in Japanese and proficiency in English or German for effective communication.
  • Proactive and results-driven with a structured approach to sales and negotiations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
