Ideal Candidate:

As a Client Service Director at VML South Africa, you will be pivotal in connecting our international clients with internal teams and our partner ecosystem. Your primary responsibility will be to unite these stakeholders to help clients realize their business goals while expanding our service footprint and account size. You will achieve this by advising clients on their marketing and communications strategies and managing the delivery of top-tier marketing solutions that enhance revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify client objectives and challenges, collaborating with your Core team to uncover opportunities.
  • Transform opportunities into sales to maximize client revenue and account presence.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for client engagement and ensure effective account planning and forecasting.
  • Mentor and develop team members through coaching and career advancement initiatives.
  • Work closely with your Delivery Lead partner to ensure efficient and profitable service delivery.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience managing client relationships in an agency setting.
  • Proven track record of driving growth within client accounts across various service areas.
  • Direct responsibility for revenue and gross margin performance in a professional services environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of marketing and communications service delivery.
  • Experience in modern marketing fields, including brand campaigns, martech platforms, CRM, and social media.
  • Ability to translate strategic business objectives into actionable plans and communicate effectively with all levels of client organizations and internal teams.
  • Strong account management and client service skills.
  • Adept at coaching, motivating, and developing team members.
