Who We Seek:

As a Client Service Director at VML South Africa, you will be pivotal in bridging our global clients, internal teams, and partner networks. Your mission will be to unite these stakeholders to help our clients realize their business goals while expanding our service impact and presence within the account. You will achieve this by advising clients on their marketing and communications landscape while creating, selling, delivering, and managing top-tier marketing and communications solutions to foster revenue growth.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Grasping client objectives and challenges while identifying opportunities in collaboration with your core team partners.
  • Transforming opportunities into sales to maximize client revenue and service footprint.
  • Establishing a core set of KPIs for engagement on your client portfolios and ensuring accounts are strategically planned and forecasted.
  • Mentoring and developing team members through coaching and career advancement.
  • Working closely with your Delivery Lead partner to ensure efficient and profitable service delivery.
Qualifications Required:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience managing clients in an agency setting.
  • A proven track record of driving growth within client accounts across various service dimensions.
  • Direct responsibility for revenue and gross margin performance in a professional services environment.
  • A comprehensive understanding of marketing and communications service delivery.
  • Experience across diverse modern marketing domains, including brand and advertising campaigns, martech/platforms, CRM, and social media.
  • Ability to translate strategic business objectives into actionable plans and effectively communicate these to all levels of client organizations and internally to your team.
  • Strong general account management and client service capabilities.
  • Adept at coaching, motivating, and developing a team.
