Manager of Sales Operations for Amazon Hub

Position Overview:
The Sales Operations Manager will assist the country lead in all facets of product setup and upkeep as we expand our operations in Germany and Austria.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will cultivate and sustain robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including service providers, host partners, technology teams, product management, and local business development.

This role requires a blend of analytical and creative thinking, with a focus on identifying enhancements for products, processes, and tools, and implementing those improvements effectively.

Interpersonal Skills:
Strong interpersonal abilities are essential, as this position will involve regular engagement with leadership at Amazon and partner organizations.

Primary Duties Include:

  • Overseeing the comprehensive installation and maintenance process for Pickup and Return Points.
  • Ensuring timely execution of service rollouts.
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives in installation and maintenance processes, alongside cost reduction efforts.
  • Monitoring the performance of service providers, including installation and maintenance partners, and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Identifying and acting on opportunities to enhance customer experience and operational performance, including elevating Operations KPIs.
  • Engaging in strategic projects, encompassing new product and feature launches, process enhancements, and geographic expansion.
  • Collaborating with global Partner Operations Program Managers to innovate for the business and establish best practices.
  • Creating materials for service providers and host partners.
  • Reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs and projects to senior leadership.
  • Fostering an environment that is responsive and adaptable to business changes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field, as technical knowledge is required.
  • Experience in risk assessment and decision-making based on analysis.
  • Proficiency in data analysis.
  • Technologically adept, with a quick learning curve for new systems.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in program or operations management involving hardware and software products.
  • Proven track record in managing cross-functional and regional programs while influencing various stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in performance measurement and optimization.
  • Experience managing third-party resources on a national scale.
  • Knowledge of SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Six Sigma or Lean certification.
