Operations Manager for Sales Initiatives

The **Operations Manager for Sales Initiatives** will assist the country lead in all facets of product deployment and upkeep in the DACH region as we continue to grow our operations. The ideal candidate will cultivate and sustain robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders – including service providers, host partners, technology and product management teams, as well as the local business development unit. This role requires a blend of analytical and creative thinking, actively seeking enhancements for products, processes, and tools, and implementing those strategies effectively. Exceptional interpersonal skills are crucial, as the position involves regular interactions with leadership at Amazon and partner organizations.

Key Responsibilities of the Operations Manager
  • Oversee the comprehensive installation and maintenance process for Pickup and Return Points.
  • Ensure timely execution of service rollouts.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in installation and maintenance operations, alongside cost-saving measures.
  • Evaluate the performance of service providers, including installation and maintenance partners, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Utilize data analysis to identify and act on opportunities for enhancing customer experience and operational performance, including elevating Operations KPIs.
  • Engage in strategic initiatives, including new product launches, process enhancements, and geographic expansion.
  • Collaborate with global Partner Operations Program Managers to innovate for the business and establish best practices.
  • Create resources for service providers and host partners.
  • Report on daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs and projects to senior management.
  • Foster a work environment that is responsive and adaptable to business changes.
Basic Qualifications
  • A degree in engineering or a related field, as technical knowledge is essential for this role.
  • Experience in risk assessment and decision-making based on evaluations.
  • Proven experience in data analysis.
  • Technologically proficient, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and German.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in program or operations management, particularly with hardware and software products.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional and regional programs, influencing various stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in performance measurement and optimization.
  • Experience managing third-party resources on a national scale.
  • Familiarity with SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Certification in Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
