Payroll and Reporting HR Coordinator

As a Payroll and Reporting HR Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your expertise will be essential in supporting our HR operations and enhancing our systems.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Preparation: Collaborate with external tax advisors to prepare ongoing payroll and take ownership of all related processes.
- Point of Contact: Serve as the primary contact for managers and employees regarding tax and social security inquiries, as well as payroll-related questions.
- Benefits Management: Ensure accurate payroll processing, including the management of employee benefits.
- Reporting and Compliance: Handle reporting, notifications, and correspondence with health insurance providers, social security agencies, and regulatory bodies.
- HR Projects: Actively participate in HR initiatives such as salary reviews and personnel cost assessments, while continuously optimizing and digitizing HR processes.
- HR Reporting: Develop and maintain a monthly HR reporting system, ensuring it evolves to meet organizational needs.
- Audit Support: Assist during audits and collaborate with accounting to create necessary provisions.
- Data Management: Work closely with the HR Operations team to ensure accurate data management for payroll and support contract creation.
- System Expertise: Act as the key user for our HR software and time tracking systems, driving ongoing improvements and optimizations.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A completed degree or equivalent commercial training in tax or social security.
- Extensive knowledge of German labor, income tax, and social security laws.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a similar role within a dynamic environment, preferably in a shift-based operation.
- Familiarity with Personio/ZMI systems is advantageous.
- A strong interest and knowledge in Compensation & Benefits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI.
- Analytical skills and precision in work, along with a solid understanding of numbers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Fluency in both German and English.
