Payroll and HR Operations Specialist

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Payroll and HR Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the payroll process in collaboration with our external tax advisor. You will be independently responsible for all related pre- and post-processing tasks.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for managers and employees regarding tax and social security inquiries, as well as questions related to payroll processing.
Ensuring accurate payroll calculations, including our benefits (e.g., company pension schemes), will be part of your responsibilities.
You will oversee reporting, notification, and certification processes, as well as correspondence with health insurance providers, social security agencies, and authorities.
As an integral part of HR projects (salary rounds, personnel cost rounds, etc.), you will continuously optimize and digitalize our HR processes.
You will establish and develop a monthly HR reporting system.
Additionally, you will assist during audits and collaborate with our accounting team to create provisions.
You will maintain close communication with our HR Operations Team to ensure accurate data management for payroll and support contract creation.
As the key user for our HR software, Personio, and time tracking software, ZMI, you will be responsible for their ongoing development and optimization.
YOUR PROFILE
You hold a degree or a comparable commercial qualification as a tax or social security specialist.
You have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role within a dynamic environment, preferably in a shift operation.
You possess strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI.
Fluency in both German and English is essential.
