Position Overview:
As a Payroll and Reporting HR Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your expertise will be essential in supporting our HR operations and enhancing our reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and oversee the payroll process in collaboration with external advisors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for management and employees regarding tax and social security inquiries, as well as payroll-related questions.
- Ensure correct payroll processing, including the management of employee benefits such as retirement plans.
- Handle reporting, notifications, and documentation, liaising with health insurance providers, social security agencies, and regulatory bodies.
- Contribute to HR projects, including salary reviews and personnel cost assessments, while continuously optimizing and digitizing HR processes.
- Develop and maintain a monthly HR reporting system, ensuring it evolves to meet organizational needs.
- Assist with audits and collaborate with accounting to prepare necessary provisions.
- Work closely with the HR Operations team to ensure accurate data management for payroll and support contract creation.
- Act as the key user for our HR software and time tracking systems, driving ongoing improvements and optimizations.
Candidate Profile:
- A completed degree or equivalent commercial training in tax or social security matters.
- Extensive knowledge of German labor, income tax, and social security laws.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a similar role within a dynamic environment, preferably in a shift-based operation.
- Familiarity with systems such as Personio and ZMI is advantageous.
- Strong interest and knowledge in Compensation & Benefits management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI.
- An analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, coupled with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Proficient in both German and English.
