About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Executive to join our team at MacGregor Black. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key retail partners in the toy industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute effective sales plans tailored to each account, with a focus on maximizing revenue, market share, and profitability.
  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the toy sector, expanding our client's presence in both existing and new retail channels.
  • Lead Contract Negotiations: Lead negotiations with retail partners, including pricing, promotions, and terms of trade, ensuring agreements are beneficial for both our client and the retail partner.
  • Monitor Market Trends: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategies.
  • Prepare Sales Forecasts and Reports: Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and reports, tracking performance against targets and KPIs.
  • Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of sales plans and customer satisfaction.
  • Address Customer Concerns: Address any issues or concerns from retail partners promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnership success.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or key account management within the toy industry, with a proven track record of selling to hypermarkets, supermarkets, and toy specialists.
  • Deep Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the toy industry, including market dynamics, consumer behavior, and retail environments in Germany.
  • Strong Negotiation and Analytical Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive sales growth and exceed targets.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
