Compensation Strategist

Senior Manager Total Rewards

As a key member of our Group HR Function, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the compensation and benefits strategy for Bauer Media Group. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and deploying a comprehensive rewards program that aligns with our global business objectives.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a global compensation strategy that drives business results and supports our company's growth ambitions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compensation and benefit structures are aligned with our international operations.
  • Design and implement competitive compensation structures, bonus schemes, and employee benefits plans that attract and retain top talent.
  • Lead the global annual remuneration round, ensuring fairness and equity in bonus and base salary decisions.
  • Drive the development of compensation processes and tools, identifying opportunities for digitalization and process improvement.
  • Conduct benchmark analyses to inform compensation decisions and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Partner with Corporate Finance to analyze and optimize personnel cost budgets and salary increase plans.
  • Build, lead, and manage a high-performing team of Total Rewards Managers.
Your Profile
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in compensation and benefits, with a strong background in international matrix organizations.
  • Proven expertise in conceptual development and optimization of international compensation systems and structures.
  • Successful track record of implementing international projects and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience in SAP and SuccessFactors.
  • High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Process-driven and data-oriented, with analytical and strategic thinking skills.
