Job Overview:

In the rapidly evolving semiconductor landscape, leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) are seeking established strategies to enhance their supply chain's visibility, control, and resilience. Arrow Electronics, Inc. is at the forefront of this transformation through its Global Supply Chain Services division. We are in search of a pivotal role to drive this initiative:

Business Development Director - Arrow Global Supply Chain Services (m/w/d)

This role is focused on individual contributions.

Key Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, or related fields, with 10-12 years of proven success in B2B solution selling to major European Tier 1 and OEM Strategic Accounts.
  • A strong network of decision-makers within the automotive OEM sector is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of key account sales, electronic components distribution, and global supply chain sectors is essential.
  • Exceptional consultative sales abilities with a track record of converting leads into viable opportunities.
  • Extensive knowledge of multinational cloud, computing, and consumer accounts, including a deep understanding of European Automotive OEMs and leading regional accounts.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact and identify sales opportunities within targeted, complex, and high-visibility Arrow customers through a strategic sales plan.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to sell Arrow's Global Supply Chain Solutions to large enterprise clients.
  • Demonstrate the ability to present compelling, value-driven proposals to C-level and senior management decision-makers, effectively communicating Arrow's value proposition and extensive capabilities in global supply chain services.
  • Leverage relationships within the distribution, representative, and supplier community to enhance sales and profitability within targeted accounts.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key personnel in operations, finance, and supply chain at targeted organizations.
