Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to join our team at PLATH Signal Products GmbH & Co. KG. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market presence in the defense sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Development: Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities within the product sales division.
  • Distribution Management: Establish and oversee a global distribution network to enhance product accessibility.
  • Client Relations: Manage relationships with representatives, distributors, and integrators, providing exceptional support and guidance to end-users.
  • Technical Consultation: Serve as the main point of contact for technical and commercial inquiries, advising on optimal product combinations.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the entire sales process from proposal creation to contract negotiations and deal closure.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to define product features in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute workshops, conferences, and trade shows to showcase our products to clients.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the PLATH Group to formulate and implement effective sales strategies.
Qualifications
  • Degree in a technical or business-related field, or equivalent experience in radio and reconnaissance technology.
  • Proven track record in sales, particularly with complex products.
  • Established network within the defense industry, especially in B2B environments.
  • Strong technical acumen is a plus.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and a history of successful sales strategy implementation.
  • Key attributes include determination, persistence, and assertiveness.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in both German and English for effective negotiations.
