About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Customer Development professional to join our team at Colgate-Palmolive Company. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and excellence in our customer engagement and gross-to-net management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-lead and co-plan the annual commercial process, including Go To Market, Professional Oral Care, and Mass-Market Commercial Meetings
  • Co-lead the Monthly Discipline Process with a strong focus on Consensus
  • Co-lead the definition and implementation of investment priorities in channels, customers, category, and brand priorities
  • Lead the Gross-to-Net Champion team, responsible for T&Cs, structure, investment priorities, folding, monitoring, and working closely with the Marketing Pricing Team
  • Co-lead the planning of the annual negotiation process, including target setting, investment posture, tracking, and overarching negotiation roadmap
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for all processes involving the Sales Team
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the Sales KPI & management reporting system
  • Train and serve as the first point of contact for all business-critical processes involving or led by Customer Development
  • Participate in cross-functional and cross-country projects involving the Sales Team
  • Simplify and standardize processes for Customer Development

  • Ensure all tools and reportings are fit for purpose, supporting efficiently all processes and decision-making

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Customer Development, including customer engagement, GtN management, and complex negotiations with retailers
  • Experience in Marketing and/or Trade Marketing, with proven proficiency in process management and utilizing category, shopping, channel, and customer marketing fundamentals
  • Ability to leverage various forms of data to provide actionable recommendations
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a robust understanding of internal and external financial KPIs
  • Strong training and didactic skills
  • Able to manage the cross-functional matrix organization
