DACH Area Retail Training Expert

Position Overview
We are in search of a Retail Training Specialist dedicated to our DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region, who will be stationed in Munich and will report directly to the Training Manager for Northern Europe.
Key Responsibilities
As a Retail Training Specialist for the DACH region, you will be instrumental in enhancing the capabilities of our Retail Teams across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This role involves collaborating closely with store management to ensure that all teams are equipped to provide the exceptional Bottega Veneta client experience.
Training Delivery
- Execute training initiatives from Northern Europe, ensuring uniform application across DACH stores.
- Assist the Retail Training Manager for Northern Europe in implementing corporate training programs that encompass product knowledge, retail skills, and customer service training, alongside mystery shopping assessments.
- Facilitate comprehensive induction sessions for all new employees, including retail staff and DACH head office personnel.
- Review and adapt training materials to ensure alignment with headquarters standards while tailoring them to local market needs.
- Support the Retail Career Program for Brand Ambassadors and Styling Advisors, providing training that fosters their growth and empowerment.
- Conduct targeted training sessions based on the specific needs of each store, focusing on Brand, Products, Selling Techniques, Customer Service, and CRM.
- Oversee training logistics, including the preparation of training materials, classroom arrangements, venue selection, and IT requirements.
Follow-Up and Evaluation
- Promote and monitor the use of our digital training platform, ensuring effective engagement with training materials.
- Develop tools for participant follow-up and on-the-job assessments, consistently gathering feedback.
- Mentor retail management in providing constructive feedback and actionable training insights.
- Conduct regular visits to stores to assess training needs, identify quick wins, and share best practices.
- Maintain and update training databases, including attendance records, participant details, training dates, and evaluations.
- Prepare training-related reports for key stakeholders.
Training Needs Assessment
- Collaborate with the Retail Training Manager for Northern Europe, local HR, and Retail Managers to identify the training needs of retail teams.
- Complete the annual training schedule on a monthly basis, informed by field visits and in-depth discussions with team members.
- Proactively analyze the training needs of local markets and develop tailored training plans and program adaptations.
Candidate Profile
- 3 to 5 years of training experience, preferably within the retail sector or a consultancy environment, with a focus on facilitation and content creation.
- Inspiring, adaptable, energetic, and passionate about training.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Strong time management and task prioritization abilities, with the capacity to work independently.
- A proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset.
- Fluent in both German and English.
- Proficient in MS Office and e-learning platforms.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% for store visits.
