About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to lead our retail team in the Munich area. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of our stores, leading a team of Shop Managers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Develop Shop Managers: Provide guidance, support, and coaching to Shop Managers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Buying, Merchandising, and Retail Management teams to drive business growth and optimize store performance.
  • Manage Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of stores in your area, including inventory management, staffing, and customer service.
  • Implement Company Directives: Ensure that company policies and procedures are implemented consistently across all stores in your area.
  • Conduct Training and Development Sessions: Provide training and development opportunities to Shop Managers and other store staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Optimize Staffing Levels: Ensure that stores in your area have the right number of staff to meet customer demand.
  • Deliver Excellent Customer Service: Foster a culture of excellent customer service across all stores in your area.
  • Active Involvement in Sales: Participate in sales activities on the shop floor to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Conduct and Supervise Inventories: Conduct regular inventories and supervise the process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Plan Promotions: Develop and implement promotional plans to drive sales growth and increase customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an Area Manager: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of success.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Team Player: A team player with excellent communication skills, able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive Attitude: A proactive attitude, with a strong understanding of the importance of leading by example.
  • Professional Training: Completed professional training in textiles or a related field.
  • Passion for Fashion: A passion for fashion and market knowledge, with a strong understanding of the retail landscape.
  • Numerical Understanding: Strong numerical understanding and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to use software applications to drive business growth.
