About the Role:

The Retail Coordinator is a key member of the Max Mara Fashion Group team, responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through effective retail operations management. This role requires a strong understanding of retail strategies and techniques, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Strategy Execution: Apply commercial strategies to achieve sales objectives, working closely with Visual Merchandising Supervisors to assign sales targets and monitor progress.
  • Visual Merchandising Supervision: Supervise the achievement of quantitative and qualitative objectives of Visual Merchandising Supervisors, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate and manage resources (costs and personnel) to guarantee the achievement of defined objectives, planning and organizing activities to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Training and Development: Develop the knowledge and skills of assigned Visual Merchandising Supervisors through off- and online training activities, focusing on products, customers, and sales techniques.
  • Motivation and Coordination: Motivate and coordinate resources under their direction to achieve commercial objectives, defining targets and carrying out support and training activities for new recruits.
  • Sales Support: Support the Sales Manager in implementing the retail strategy, with particular attention to retail supervision activities (analysis, diagnosis, interventions, etc.).
  • Feedback and Reporting: Monitor and report structured feedback relating to the specific area of sales outlets under their competence, through assigned Visual Merchandising Supervisors.
  • Digital Adoption: Encourage participation in on-the-job training through proactive initiatives, teamwork, and digital activities, aimed at facilitating innovation and improving the effectiveness/efficiency of responsibilities.
  • Sustainability: Adopt meaningful behavior and promote both operational and cultural actions linked to Sustainable Development, understood as an interconnection of practices aimed at caring for the environment, business processes, and community organization.

Requirements:

  • Retail and Trade Marketing: Strong understanding of retail and trade marketing in-store techniques and strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication in German and English.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Product Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the products or services offered by the company.
  • Passion for Fashion: Strong passion for fashion and Max Mara Fashion Group brands.
