Job Description

As a Customer Success Manager at DataGuard, you will be responsible for driving growth and retention in your assigned client portfolio. Your primary goal will be to increase net retention and expand our customer base through strategic account management and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Qualify and onboard new customers, identifying upselling potential and conducting product demos to build long-lasting business relationships.
  • Work closely with decision-makers and founders of fast-growing businesses, demonstrating a high sense of urgency and a strong bias towards action.
  • Identify customer challenges, conduct escalation meetings, and mediate solutions to minimize risk and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Renew contracts, prepare quotations, and negotiate prices to ensure customer retention and growth.
  • Analyze customer behavior and propose concrete measures to optimize the use of DataGuard's product portfolio.
  • Generate valuable customer success stories, foster customer exchanges, and best practices to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, product, and support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Work with clear revenue targets to measure the success of your work and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Completed studies in economics, social sciences, technical business administration, or a comparable course of study or training.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience in running product demos and moderating meetings.
  • Proactive, independent, and able to prioritize tasks well, with a strong bias towards action.
  • Early-stage interest in Privacy, InfoSec, and Compliance topics, with a willingness to learn and develop knowledge in these areas.
  • Experience with software products and development, with a passion for building products that meet customer needs.
  • Very good German (C2 level) and English skills, both written and spoken.
