Your Role

As a Logistics Support Analysis Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team in Hennigsdorf, collaborating with over 2,100 colleagues from diverse backgrounds, including 800 engineers. Our locally developed products range from high-speed to regional trains, subways, and trams. Your contributions will help maximize the value of customer assets throughout their lifecycle, from design and construction to operation and decommissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess performance allocation in alignment with Design for Serviceability (DFS) objectives.
  • Develop maintenance strategies and design LSA components (MTA, LCC, LORA, RCM).
  • Identify and define spare parts requirements.
  • Validate support solutions along with maintenance documentation, specialized tools, and training resources.
  • Consolidate data within the Integrated Service Readiness (ISR) repository (ILS PDM).
  • Lead the LSA team during tenders or projects.
  • Oversee LSA activities to meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments in conjunction with the ISR Management plan.
  • Draft the LSA Management plan.
  • Facilitate technical collaboration with various teams (RAMS Architect, mechanical, electrical & system architects, sourcing, LSA for equipment and suppliers).
  • Ensure proper application of DFS across subsystems.
  • Gather and incorporate Return of Experience (REX) insights.
  • Define the Logistic Breakdown Structure (LBS) in accordance with Design Engineering BOM definitions.
  • Formulate and refine maintenance plans.
  • Conduct Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analyses, focusing on optimization.
  • Manage supplier relationships concerning ISR requirements.
  • Ensure the LSA database (ILS PDM) is accurately defined and maintained.
  • Align spare part consumption models with maintenance strategies.
  • Validate the content of technical maintenance documentation and training resources.

Candidate Profile

We prioritize enthusiasm and a positive attitude over extensive experience. While we do not expect you to possess every skill, the following qualifications will support your success in this role:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or Life Cycle Costing (LCC) within relevant industries.
  • A master's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Proficiency in German for business communication.
  • Competence in English for technical discussions.
  • A passion for data analysis and optimization.
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
  • Innovative thinking and a results-oriented mindset.
