Your Future Role

In Hennigsdorf, a team of 2,100 professionals from 46 nations, including 800 engineers, is at the forefront of revolutionizing rail mobility. Our locally designed, produced, and serviced offerings include high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our Services product line provides a comprehensive suite of solutions aimed at maximizing the value of customer assets throughout their lifecycle, from design and construction to operation and decommissioning. You will report to Vladislav Vasilev and collaborate with a passionate and committed team.

Responsibilities

  • Assess performance allocation in alignment with DFS (Design for Serviceability) objectives.
  • Develop maintenance strategies and design LSA components (MTA, LCC, LORA, RCM).
  • Specify spare parts requirements.
  • Validate support solutions and related maintenance documentation, specialized tools, and training resources.
  • Aggregate data within the central ISR (Integrated Service Readiness) repository (ILS PDM).
  • Lead the LSA (Logistic Support Analysis) team during tenders or projects.
  • Oversee LSA activities to meet QCD commitments in conjunction with the ISR Management plan.
  • Draft the LSA Management plan.
  • Ensure technical coordination with RS, Components, Signaling, and Infrastructure teams (RAMS Architect, mechanical, electrical & system architect, sourcing, LSA for equipment and suppliers).
  • Confirm proper application of DFS on Sub Systems (Component Site).
  • Ensure collection and consideration of REX (Return of Experience).
  • Define the Logistic Breakdown Structure (LBS) in accordance with Design Engineering BOM (Bill of Materials) specifications.
  • Formulate maintenance plans.
  • Conduct LCC calculations, analyze results, and optimize processes.
  • Manage relationships with sourcing regarding ISR requirement clauses related to sourcing issues.
  • Ensure the LSA database (ILS PDM) is accurately defined and updated.
  • Verify alignment between Spare Part consumption models and maintenance strategies.
  • Validate the content of technical maintenance documentation and training resources.

Qualifications

  • A master's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
