Your Role
As a Logistic Support Analysis Engineer (f/m/d), you will be part of a vibrant team in Hennigsdorf, consisting of 2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers. Our locally developed and manufactured product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our Services product line provides comprehensive solutions to maximize the value of customer assets throughout their lifecycle, from design and construction to operation and decommissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess performance allocation in alignment with DFS (Design for Serviceability) objectives.
- Develop maintenance strategies and design LSA components (MTA, LCC, LORA, RCM).
- Specify spare parts requirements.
- Validate support solutions and associated maintenance documentation, special tools, and training resources.
- Consolidate data in the central ISR (Integrated Service Readiness) repository (ILS PDM).
- Lead the LSA (Logistic Support Analysis) team during tenders or projects.
- Oversee LSA activities to meet QCD commitments in conjunction with the ISR Management plan.
- Draft the LSA Management plan.
- Ensure effective technical collaboration with RS, Components, Signaling, and Infrastructure teams (RAMS Architect, mechanical, electrical & system architect, sourcing, LSA for equipment and suppliers).
- Confirm proper application of DFS on Subsystems (Component Site).
- Ensure collection and consideration of REX (Return of Experience).
- Define the Logistic Breakdown Structure (LBS) in accordance with Design Engineering BOM (Bill of Materials) specifications.
- Develop maintenance plans.
- Conduct LCC calculations, analyze results, and optimize processes.
- Manage supplier relationships concerning ISR (Integrated Service Readiness) requirements.
- Ensure the LSA database (ILS PDM) is accurately defined and maintained.
- Guarantee alignment between Spare Part consumption models and maintenance strategies.
- Validate the content of technical maintenance documentation and training resources.
Candidate Profile
We prioritize enthusiasm and attitude over extensive experience. While we do not expect you to possess every skill, the following qualifications will enhance your success in this role:
- 3-5 years of experience in ILS/LCC within relevant industries.
- Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Fluency in German for business communication.
- Proficient in English for technical discussions.
- Passion for data analysis and optimization.
- Adept at supplier management and overcoming challenges to achieve optimal outcomes.
