Your Future Role

In Hennigsdorf, a dedicated team of 2,100 colleagues from 46 nations, including 800 engineers, is at the forefront of shaping the future of rail mobility. Our locally developed and manufactured product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, trams, and light rail vehicles. Our Services product line offers comprehensive solutions to maximize the value of customer assets throughout their lifecycle, from design and construction to operation and decommissioning. You will report to Vladislav Vasilev and collaborate with a passionate and skilled team.

Responsibilities

  • Assess performance allocation in alignment with DFS (Design for Serviceability) objectives.
  • Develop maintenance strategies and design LSA components (MTA, LCC, LORA, RCM).
  • Specify spare parts requirements.
  • Validate support solutions and associated maintenance documentation, special tools, and training materials.
  • Consolidate data in the central ISR (Integrated Service Readiness) repository (ILS PDM).
  • Lead the LSA (Logistic Support Analysis) team during tenders or projects.
  • Oversee LSA activities to fulfill QCD commitments in coordination with the ISR Management plan.
  • Draft the LSA Management plan.
  • Ensure technical collaboration with RS, Components, Signaling, and Infrastructure teams (RAMS Architect, mechanical, electrical & system architect, sourcing, LSA for equipment and suppliers).
  • Confirm proper application of DFS on Sub Systems (Component Site).
  • Ensure collection and consideration of REX (Return of Experience).
  • Manage the definition of the Logistic Breakdown Structure (LBS) in alignment with Design Engineering BOM (Bill of Materials) specifications.
  • Develop maintenance plans.
  • Conduct LCC calculations, analyze, and optimize.
  • Maintain relationships with sourcing regarding ISR requirement clauses related to sourcing concerns.
  • Ensure the LSA database (ILS PDM) is accurately defined and updated.
  • Verify compliance between Spare Part consumption models and maintenance strategies.
  • Validate the content of technical maintenance documentation and training materials.

Qualifications

  • Ideally, 3-5 years of experience in ILS/LCC within related sectors.
  • A master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Proficiency in German for business communication.
  • Competence in English for technical discussions.
  • A passion for data analysis and optimization.
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships and navigate challenges to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • A creative mindset, seeking innovative solutions and achieving set objectives.
