Role Summary
We are seeking a Logistics Support Analysis Engineer (f/m/d) to contribute to our operations in Hennigsdorf. Here, a diverse team of 2,100 professionals from 46 nations, including 800 engineers, is dedicated to shaping the future of rail mobility. Our locally developed and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, trams, and light rail vehicles. Our Services division provides comprehensive solutions aimed at maximizing the value of customer assets throughout their lifecycle. You will report to Vladislav Vasilev and collaborate with a passionate team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess performance allocation in alignment with DFS (Design for Serviceability) objectives.
- Develop maintenance strategies and design LSA components (MTA, LCC, LORA, RCM).
- Specify spare parts requirements.
- Validate support solutions and associated maintenance documentation, special tools, and training resources.
- Consolidate data in the central ISR (Integrated Service Readiness) repository (ILS PDM).
- Lead the LSA (Logistic Support Analysis) team during tenders or projects.
- Oversee LSA activities to ensure QCD commitments are met in conjunction with the ISR Management plan.
- Draft the LSA Management plan.
- Facilitate technical collaboration with RS, Components, Signaling, and Infrastructure teams (RAMS Architect, mechanical, electrical & system architect, sourcing, LSA for equipment and suppliers).
- Ensure correct application of DFS across Sub Systems (Component Site).
- Collect and incorporate REX (Return of Experience) insights.
- Define the Logistic Breakdown Structure (LBS) in alignment with Design Engineering BOM (Bill of Materials) specifications.
- Develop and refine maintenance plans.
- Conduct LCC calculations, analyze results, and optimize processes.
- Manage sourcing relationships concerning ISR requirements.
- Ensure the LSA database (ILS PDM) is accurately defined and maintained.
- Verify alignment between Spare Part consumption models and maintenance strategies.
- Validate the content of technical maintenance documentation and training resources.
Candidate Profile
We prioritize enthusiasm and a positive attitude over extensive experience. While we do not expect you to possess every skill, the following qualifications will enhance your success in this role:
- Ideally, 3-5 years of experience in ILS/LCC within relevant industries.
- A master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in German for business communication.
- Competence in English for technical discussions.
- A passion for data analysis and optimization.
- Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
