About the Role

The Customer Success Manager BTP will play a key role in helping customers consume SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) within their application projects as the cloud platform-of-choice. BTP is the engine for innovation through integration, extension, and analysis scenarios of the Intelligent Enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with technical decision makers in assigned accounts to ensure broad consumption of the SAP BTP portfolio.
  • Analyze customer technical needs and execute consumption plans for assigned customers.
  • Provide recommendations and prepare customers to make the best use of the SAP BTP solution, in alignment with SAP strategy and roadmap.
  • Act as the primary SAP BTP strategic point of contact and orchestrate success resources across SAP and customers.
  • Work with colleagues from various groups such as Cloud Success Services, Account Teams, Pre-sales, Product Management, Support, Services, Partners, etc.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience working in the IT Industry, with a background in Software Engineering, Solution Management, Project/Product Management, Project Implementation, Pre-sales, Technical Customer Engagement, Customer Success, Proactive Support Services, Consulting, etc.
  • Deep understanding of one or more areas of the SAP BTP portfolio: SAP BTP Extension and Integration Suite, Cloud Databases, Cloud Data Management, Analytics Cloud Solutions.
  • Foundational knowledge of public cloud platforms and providers (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, etc.) Certifications in enterprise architecture are a plus.
  • Great communication and presentation skills. Familiarity with design thinking methodology is a plus.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics both internally at SAP, as well as externally with customers and partners.
  • Continuous learning and adaptability to the unique business and cultural practices of each region/country.
  • Customer service mindset and customer empathy.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and problem solving.
  • Fluent German language skills (C1 level).
