Position Overview
This role centers on assisting clients in leveraging the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) for their application projects, establishing it as their preferred cloud platform. BTP serves as the driving force for innovation through integration, extension, and analytical scenarios within the Intelligent Enterprise. The BTP Customer Success Partner (CSP) is tasked with nurturing relationships with technical decision-makers in designated accounts to ensure extensive utilization of the service portfolio across various application projects through Technical Advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate proactively with clients to sustainably enhance the adoption of SAP BTP services while coordinating with the Account Team.
- Evaluate the broader context, possess expertise in digital transformation, and provide guidance on technical and business architectures.
- Act as the primary strategic contact for SAP BTP, orchestrating success resources across SAP and client organizations, as outlined in the SAP BTP engagement framework.
- Assess the technical requirements of your clients and implement consumption strategies for your assigned accounts.
- Offer recommendations and prepare clients to maximize the benefits of the solution, in line with SAP's strategic vision and roadmap.
- Serve as the voice of the client to internal SAP stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues from diverse groups, including Cloud Success Services, Account Teams, Pre-sales, Product Management, Support, Services, and Partners.
- A BTP-CSP Advisor may also be designated to deliver premium subscription services to clients.
Qualifications
To excel in this position, you should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the IT sector, with backgrounds in Software Engineering, Solution Management, Project/Product Management, Project Implementation, Pre-sales, Technical Customer Engagement, Customer Success, Proactive Support Services, or Consulting.
- A comprehensive understanding of one or more components of the SAP BTP portfolio, including SAP BTP Extension and Integration Suite, Cloud Databases, Cloud Data Management, and Analytics Cloud Solutions.
- Foundational knowledge of public cloud platforms and providers (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud). Certifications in enterprise architecture are advantageous.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with familiarity in design thinking methodologies being a plus.
- The ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics both within SAP and with external clients and partners.
- A commitment to continuous learning and adaptation to the unique business and cultural practices of various regions.
- A customer-centric mindset and strong empathy for client needs.
- A passion for learning new technologies and a knack for problem-solving.
- Proficiency in the German language (C1 level).
