Position Overview

The primary objective of this role is to assist clients in leveraging the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) for their application initiatives as the preferred cloud platform. BTP serves as the catalyst for innovation through integration, extension, and analytical scenarios within the Intelligent Enterprise framework. The BTP Customer Success Partner (CSP) is tasked with engaging with key technical decision-makers in designated accounts to ensure comprehensive utilization of the service portfolio across various application projects through expert Technical Advisory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate proactively with clients to enhance the sustainable use of SAP BTP services while coordinating with the Account Team.
  • Evaluate the broader context, possess expertise in digital transformation, and provide guidance on both technical and business architectures.
  • Act as the main strategic contact for SAP BTP, orchestrating success resources across SAP and client organizations, in line with the SAP BTP engagement framework.
  • Assess the technical requirements of your clients and implement consumption strategies for your assigned accounts.
  • Offer insights and prepare clients to maximize the benefits of the solution, aligning with SAP's strategic direction and roadmap.
  • Serve as the voice of the client to internal SAP stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various departments, including Cloud Success Services, Account Teams, Pre-sales, Product Management, Support, Services, and Partners.
  • A BTP-CSP Advisor may also be designated to provide premium subscription services to clients.

Qualifications

You will thrive in this position if:

  • You possess over 3 years of experience in the IT sector, with a background in Software Engineering, Solution Management, Project/Product Management, Implementation, Pre-sales, Technical Customer Engagement, Customer Success, Proactive Support Services, or Consulting.
  • You have a profound understanding of one or more components of the SAP BTP portfolio, including the SAP BTP Extension and Integration Suite, Cloud Databases, Cloud Data Management, and Analytics Cloud Solutions.
  • You are knowledgeable about public cloud platforms and providers (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud). Certifications in enterprise architecture are advantageous.
  • You exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills, with familiarity in design thinking methodologies being a plus.
  • You can navigate complex organizational dynamics both within SAP and with external clients and partners.
  • You are committed to continuous learning and can adapt to the unique business and cultural practices of different regions.
  • You maintain a customer-centric mindset and demonstrate empathy towards clients.
  • You are passionate about learning new technologies and enjoy solving problems.
  • Proficiency in the German language (C1 level) is required.
