Automotive Sales and Key Account Executive

As a Sales and Key Account Executive in our High Performance Polymers division, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to promote eco-friendly biobased and recycled materials within the automotive industry.

Your Sales Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy (covering volume and pricing/margin) aimed at fostering growth in the region, particularly focusing on key accounts and OEMs.
  • Engage in negotiations for commercial agreements.
  • Coordinate activities related to global accounts with the corresponding international team.
  • Assess customer demand and manage sales coordination.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with customers and OEMs across various levels and functions.
  • Advocate for products and applications, identifying new business opportunities within the designated segment/region.
Your Additional Responsibilities:
  • Represent Arkema at industry trade shows.
  • Contribute to publications, deliver presentations, and participate in conferences.
  • Evaluate the value chain, competitive landscape, and market trends within the region.
  • Engage in standard committees and influence material specifications for standard testing as necessary.
  • Utilize corporate tools (CRM, SAP, etc.) to oversee and report on activities.
Your Qualifications:
  • Over 5 years of experience in polymer sales, ideally within the automotive sector.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Proficient in both German and English; knowledge of French or Eastern European languages (e.g., Polish) is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, prioritization, and innovative capabilities.
