At Arrow, we believe that immersive learning is key, and we will integrate you into our operations, granting you responsibility for your job-related tasks. Throughout the program, you will also be tasked with completing assignments that apply your learning while collaborating with specialized experts.
In the Asset department, your responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborating with the Product Group Manager to enhance inventory quality, boost turnover, minimize Slow Moving Inventory (SMI), and ensure timely delivery to meet customer demands.
  • Managing inventory, profiling, scheduling, and backlog of Purchase Orders (POs) to align with Customer Request Dates (CRDs).
  • Formulating and executing product strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers, sales teams, and end customers.
  • Developing Oracle CPI and BPO requirements to elevate service levels.
  • Encouraging suppliers to prioritize Arrow and our customers.
  • Acting as a point of escalation for service recovery issues.
  • Resolving Invoice Price Variance (IPV) and Non-Conforming Receipts (NCR) in coordination with Primary Distribution Centers and the Finance Department.
  • Aggregating volume to enhance our profit margins.
  • Managing Slow Moving Inventory through review and reduction strategies.
  • Negotiating stock packages with the Product Supply Manager.
  • Preparing and conducting Supplier meetings.
  • Serving as the primary contact for Sales regarding stock, backlog management, and supplier lead times.
  • Overseeing lead time management and implementation in Oracle and Planet Arrow with the Data Management department.
  • Processing scrap and supplier returns in conjunction with Data Management and Finance.
  • Acting as the supplier champion for all Asset-related needs.
  • Facilitating intercompany inventory transfers.
  • Managing asset attributes.
  • Collaborating on daily action lists in Demantra and ASCP.
Qualifications:
  • You must possess a legal right to work in the country where the position is located.
  • You have obtained or will obtain a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field in 2024 or within the last two years.
  • Fluency in German and English (both oral and written).
  • Strong understanding of business administration practices and their application in daily operations and strategy.
  • Good grasp of commercial business strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage proactively with teams, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with a commitment to supporting our sales team in driving business growth and enhancing profitability.
  • A proactive approach to supporting and initiating process improvements.
