About the Role
Arrow Central Europe GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and organized Product Asset Manager to join our Graduate Program. As a Product Asset Manager, you will be responsible for managing the quality of inventory, improving turn, reducing Slow Moving Inventory (SMI), and delivering on time to customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Product Group Manager (PGM) to improve inventory quality and reduce SMI.
- Manage inventory profiling, scheduling, and backlog management of Purchase Orders (POs) to meet Customer Request Dates (CRDs).
- Develop and execute product strategies with key interfaces.
- Develop excellent relationships with suppliers, sales, and end customers.
- Develop Oracle CPI and BPO requirements to improve service levels.
- Influence suppliers to proactively discriminate in favor of Arrow and our customers.
- Act as an escalation route for service recovery issues.
- Resolve Invoice Price Variance (IPVs) and Non-Conforming Receipts (NCRs) interfacing with the Primary Distribution Center (PDC) and account payables (Finance Department).
- Manage volume aggregation to improve margin.
- Manage Slow Moving Inventory (SMI) and reduce it.
- Negotiate stock packages with the Product Supply Manager (PSM).
- Prepare and execute supplier meetings.
- Act as a supplier owner and contact person for sales and supplier marketing.
- Be a single point of contact for the sales team for all cases related to stock, backlog management, and lead times of suppliers/technology.
- Manage lead time and implement it in Oracle and Planet Arrow with the Data Management department (MDM).
- Process scrap and supplier returns together with MDM and Finance.
- Act as a supplier champion for all Asset needs.
- Support intercompany inventory transfer.
- Manage Asset attribute management (File).
- Manage UDPs together with PSM, PGM, and MDM.
- Work on the daily action list in Demantra and ASCP.
Requirements
- You must have a legal right to work in the country where the position is located.
- You have obtained or will obtain a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration/Marketing-related studies or similar within the last 2 years.
- You must be fluent in German and English (oral and written).
- You must have sound knowledge of business administration practices and how to apply them to daily business and strategy.
- You must have a good understanding of commercial business strategies.
- You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to interact proactively with the team, suppliers, sales organization, and other relevant teams.
- You must be highly organized and desire to support our sales team to grow the business and improve our profitability.
- You must be keen to support and drive process improvements.
- You must have an excellent service mindset.
- You must be a team player.
- You must be flexible and have geographical mobility.
