Student Assistant in Financial Controlling (m/f/d)

Location: Germany



Key Responsibilities
  • Support the German Business Controlling team in delivering financial insights to management.
  • Engage in tasks related to reporting, forecasting, planning, and product cost calculation.
  • Collaborate with various business stakeholders to enhance understanding of the industrial gases sector.
  • Take charge of specific work packages within business controlling projects aimed at refining financial processes and data quality.
  • Assist in data analysis and support financial system implementations within the Finance Systems & Process department.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of finance organization structures and financial project management.
Qualifications
  • Commit to a minimum of six months to deepen your knowledge in Finance & Controlling.
  • Currently enrolled as a third-year bachelor or master student in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Prior internship or working student experience is preferred.
  • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of German is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and a passion for data and systems.
  • Excel proficiency is required; eagerness to learn Power Query/Pivot/VBA/SAP is a plus.
  • Show interest in the industrial gases business and a desire for career growth in finance & controlling.
