Position Overview

As a part of the Business Controlling team at Linde GmbH, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our Packaged Gases Business unit. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various financial functions.


Your Responsibilities
  • Assist in delivering financial insights to management, enhancing decision-making processes.
  • Engage in reporting, forecasting, planning, and product cost calculations.
  • Collaborate with diverse business stakeholders to deepen your understanding of the industrial gases sector.
  • Take ownership of specific projects aimed at refining financial processes, monthly closing activities, and improving master data quality.
  • Support the Finance Systems & Process department by conducting data analysis and aiding in financial system implementations.
  • Participate in project management tasks for selected initiatives, gaining a comprehensive view of financial organization structures.

Qualifications
  • Commit to a minimum of six months to acquire extensive knowledge in Finance & Controlling.
  • Ideal candidates are third-year bachelor or master students in business administration, finance, accounting, or related fields.
  • Prior internship or working student experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential; knowledge of German is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking, data management skills, and the ability to present findings clearly.
  • Excel proficiency is required, with a willingness to develop skills in Power Query, Pivot, VBA, and SAP.
  • Show eagerness to learn about the industrial gases industry and pursue a career in finance and controlling.
