- As a vital member of the German Business Controlling team, you will assist your colleagues in delivering financial insights to the management of the Packaged Gases Business unit.
- Your role will encompass specific responsibilities in reporting, forecasting, planning, and product cost assessment.
- The assignments you undertake will provide you with insights into our industrial gases sector and necessitate collaboration with various business stakeholders.
- Moreover, you will be entrusted with specific work packages within business controlling initiatives aimed at enhancing financial processes, monthly closing tasks, or master data integrity.
- Your duties within the Finance Systems & Process department for Europe West will include aiding in data analysis, supporting financial system rollouts, and managing project tasks for selected initiatives.
- These responsibilities will equip you with a solid understanding of the overall structure of a Finance organization and the framework of extensive financial projects.
What Makes You Great
- Commit to a minimum of six months to acquire comprehensive knowledge of our Finance & Controlling department.
- If you are a third-year bachelor student or a master's student in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field, we encourage your application.
- Prior experience through at least one internship or working student position during your studies is preferred.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential, and familiarity with the German language is advantageous.
- Leverage your enthusiasm for analytical reasoning, data & systems, and articulating a well-structured narrative based on your findings.
- Thriving in a dynamic team environment and collaborating with finance stakeholders and other business functions is where you excel.
- Proficiency in Excel is required, and you should be eager to enhance your skills in Power Query/Pivot/VBA/SAP.
- A willingness to learn about the industrial gases sector on-the-job and a strong interest in future career advancement in finance & controlling are essential.
