Position Overview
As a member of the Business Controlling team at Linde GmbH, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial management of our operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the industrial gases sector.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering financial insights to the management team of the Packaged Gases Business unit.
- Engage in various tasks related to reporting, forecasting, planning, and product cost analysis.
- Collaborate with multiple business stakeholders to enhance your understanding of our operations.
- Take ownership of specific work packages within business controlling projects aimed at refining financial processes and improving data quality.
- Support the Finance Systems & Process department by conducting data analysis and aiding in financial system implementations.
- Gain valuable insights into the structure of a Finance organization and the management of extensive financial projects.
Qualifications
- Commit to a minimum of six months to acquire comprehensive knowledge of our Finance & Controlling department.
- Currently enrolled as a third-year bachelor or master student in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Previous internship or working student experience is preferred.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of German is advantageous.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and a passion for data and systems.
- Excel proficiency is required, with a willingness to enhance skills in Power Query, Pivot, VBA, and SAP.
- Show eagerness to learn about the industrial gases industry and pursue a career in finance and controlling.
