Position Overview

As a key member of the Business Controlling team, you will play a vital role in assisting colleagues by delivering essential financial insights to the management of the Packaged Gases sector.


Your Responsibilities
  • Engage in various reporting, forecasting, planning, and product cost analysis tasks.
  • Collaborate with diverse business stakeholders to enhance your understanding of the industrial gases sector.
  • Take charge of specific work packages within business controlling initiatives aimed at refining financial processes, monthly closing tasks, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Support the Finance Systems & Process department for Europe West by assisting in data analysis, contributing to financial system implementations, and managing selected project tasks.
  • Gain comprehensive insights into the structure of a Finance organization and the intricacies of extensive financial projects.

Qualifications
  • Commit to a minimum of six months to acquire in-depth knowledge of our Finance & Controlling department.
  • We seek third-year bachelor students or master's students in business administration, finance, accounting, or related fields.
  • Prior experience through internships or student jobs is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential; knowledge of German is advantageous.
  • Exhibit a passion for analytical thinking, data management, and presenting structured narratives based on your findings.
  • Thriving in a dynamic team environment and collaborating with finance stakeholders and other business units is crucial.
  • Strong Excel skills are required, and enthusiasm for developing expertise in Power Query/Pivot/VBA/SAP is desired.
  • A willingness to learn about the industrial gases industry on-the-job and a keen interest in advancing your career in finance & controlling are important.
