Your Key Responsibilities
  • As a vital member of the Financial Management team in Germany, you will assist your colleagues in delivering crucial financial insights to the leadership of the Packaged Gases sector.
  • You will handle specific responsibilities in areas such as financial reporting, forecasting, strategic planning, and product cost analysis.
  • The assignments you undertake will provide you with insights into our industrial gases sector and necessitate collaboration with various business partners.
  • Moreover, you will manage specific project components within financial management initiatives aimed at enhancing financial workflows, monthly closing processes, and data integrity.
  • Your role within the Finance Systems & Processes division for Western Europe will involve supporting data analysis, aiding in financial system rollouts, and overseeing project management tasks for selected initiatives.
  • These responsibilities will equip you with a comprehensive understanding of the structure of a Finance organization and the dynamics of extensive financial projects.
What We Seek in You
  • Commit to a minimum of six months to acquire extensive knowledge of our Finance & Management department.
  • If you are a third-year undergraduate or a master's student in business management, finance, accounting, or a related field, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
  • Prior experience through internships or student roles during your studies is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential, and familiarity with the German language is advantageous.
  • Bring your enthusiasm for analytical reasoning, data management, and presenting well-structured narratives based on your findings.
  • Thriving in a collaborative environment with finance professionals and other business units is where you shine.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required, and you should be eager to enhance your skills in Power Query/Pivot/VBA/SAP.
  • Be prepared to learn about the industrial gases sector on the job and demonstrate a strong interest in advancing your career in finance & management.

We are accountable for financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for operations and sales, playing a crucial role in meeting financial objectives. Additionally, we focus on the ongoing enhancement of all financial processes and are integral to business initiatives.
The Finance Systems & Processes division for Western Europe is tasked with managing and refining financial systems and processes utilized across the region. We also lead finance-related projects from conception to execution, supporting our financial operations and the strategic vision of the organization.
