Overview

The Global Transfer Pricing Strategies division operates within the Center of Excellence Global Tax at Fresenius Medical Care. The Senior Manager of Global Transfer Pricing Strategies plays a pivotal role in a worldwide team of Transfer Pricing specialists and reports directly to the Head of Global Transfer Pricing Strategies. The responsibilities encompass the following:

  • Enhancing the current global Transfer Pricing Guidelines along with the Masterfile and Local File templates.
  • Creating legally mandated transfer pricing documentation.
  • Overseeing Transfer Prices.
  • Engaging in national and international projects related to Transfer Pricing.
  • Assisting various business units in the formulation and execution of Transfer Pricing systems for service provisions and goods deliveries, in close collaboration with Controlling.
  • Participating in business reorganizations, cross-border business transfer initiatives, and new business models and investments.
  • Providing support to local tax functions and the Tax Audit & Controversy division during Transfer Pricing audits.
  • Facilitating the initiation of Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) and involvement in Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs).
  • Collaborating with operational TP Controllers across regions/countries and specific global functions.
  • Proactively tracking national and international legislative developments in transfer pricing.

Qualifications

  • Completed studies in business administration or law.
  • A minimum of five years of professional experience in a similar role within an international corporate environment or with an auditing/tax consultancy firm.
  • Certification as a tax advisor in Germany or an equivalent qualification from abroad is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of German and international tax legislation.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to comprehend complex interrelations and solution-oriented working skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Office).
  • Independent and organized work style with a collaborative approach.
  • Project management expertise and experience in a multinational context.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in German and other foreign languages is a plus.
