Senior Global Transfer Pricing Manager

Position Overview
The Global Transfer Pricing Strategies team operates within the Center of Excellence Global Tax at Fresenius Medical Care. The Senior Manager for Global Transfer Pricing Strategies plays a pivotal role in a worldwide team of Transfer Pricing specialists and reports directly to the Head of Global Transfer Pricing Strategies. The responsibilities of this role encompass the following:
- Enhancing existing global Transfer Pricing Guidelines along with the Masterfile and Local File templates.
- Preparation of mandatory transfer pricing documentation in compliance with legal requirements.
- Oversight and monitoring of Transfer Prices.
- Engagement in national and international projects related to Transfer Pricing.
- Collaboration with various business units to develop and implement Transfer Pricing systems for services and goods delivery, working closely with Controlling.
- Participation in business reorganizations, cross-border business transfer initiatives, and new business models and investments.
- Assistance to local tax functions and the Tax Audit & Controversy team during Transfer Pricing audits.
- Support in initiating Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) and participating in Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs).
- Business partnering with operational TP Controllers across regions and certain global functions.
- Proactive tracking of national and international legislative changes affecting transfer pricing.
Candidate Profile
- Completed degree in business administration or law.
- A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in a similar role within an international corporate environment or with an auditing/tax consultancy firm.
- Certification as a tax advisor in Germany or equivalent qualification from abroad is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of German and international tax regulations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to comprehend complex interrelations and solution-oriented working capabilities.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, along with strong teamwork skills.
- Project management experience in a multinational context.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in German and other foreign languages is a plus.
