Global Senior Product Manager for Critical Care Solutions

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Global ( Senior) Product Manager (m/f/d) to oversee a critical care product portfolio on an international level. As the authority on Fresenius Medical Care's AKI therapy systems , you will be instrumental in steering strategic initiatives, product innovation, and market expansion efforts. This role focuses on a comprehensive therapy system that includes hardware, software, consumables, and treatment applications. This position presents a unique opportunity to enhance patient outcomes and foster advancements in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Business Support: Address product- and therapy-specific inquiries from sales & marketing and assist with tender specifications and customer requests. Product Strategy: Formulate and implement a detailed product strategy for AKI systems that aligns with the company's objectives, market dynamics, and customer requirements in the Critical Care sector, while also supporting global go-to-market strategies and product launches. Product Development: Collaborate closely with cross-functional and agile teams, including engineers, designers, and clinicians, to drive the complete product development lifecycle. Convert customer needs into product specifications and user stories. Global Engagement: Work closely with our country organizations and business partners across more than 90 countries. Propel revenue growth and profitability of the critical care product portfolio on a global scale. Product Launch: Facilitate product launches to ensure business success and customer satisfaction. Serve as the product expert while motivating sales teams to effectively communicate the features and benefits of our offerings. Field Presence: Contribute significantly to our success story and future growth. Make an impact by engaging with customers and colleagues through hospital visits and industry events.Candidate Profile
Bachelor's or master's degree in natural or engineering sciences, preferably with a focus on medical technology. At least 5 years of product management experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, ideally with a focus on active medical devices and a solid understanding of technical aspects. Familiarity with extracorporeal blood purification procedures, dialysis-related product and therapy knowledge, or intensive care technology is advantageous. A commercial mindset; prior experience in medical device sales is a plus. Strong cross-cultural awareness to align product and therapy topics globally and collaborate effectively to resolve issues. Excellent communication skills at all levels, with the ability to clearly present ideas and solutions while keeping colleagues and stakeholders informed. Willingness to travel occasionally for business (up to 30% of working time). Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German and additional languages is a plus.Career Opportunities
