Senior Global Transfer Pricing Manager

Position Overview
The Global Transfer Pricing Strategies division is an integral part of the Center of Excellence Global Tax at Fresenius Medical Care. The Senior Manager for Global Transfer Pricing Strategies is a key member of a worldwide team of Transfer Pricing specialists and reports directly to the Head of Global Transfer Pricing Strategies. The responsibilities of this role encompass the following:
- Enhancing and refining the existing global Transfer Pricing Guidelines along with the Masterfile and Local File templates.
- Drafting legally mandated transfer pricing documentation.
- Overseeing Transfer Prices to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Engaging in national and international projects related to Transfer Pricing.
- Collaborating with various business units to develop and implement Transfer Pricing systems for service provisions and goods deliveries, in close partnership with Controlling.
- Participating in business reorganizations, cross-border business transfer initiatives, and new business models and investments.
- Assisting local tax functions and the Tax Audit & Controversy team during Transfer Pricing audits.
- Facilitating the initiation of Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) and participating in Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs).
- Partnering with operational TP Controllers across regions and certain global functions.
- Proactively tracking national and international legislative changes in the realm of transfer pricing.
Candidate Profile
- Completed higher education in business administration or law.
- A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in a similar role within an international corporate environment or at an auditing/tax consultancy firm.
- Certification as a tax advisor in Germany or an equivalent qualification from abroad is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of both German and international tax legislation.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to comprehend complex interrelationships, coupled with a solution-oriented approach.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a structured manner, while also being a team player.
- Experience in project management within a multinational context.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in German and other foreign languages is a plus.
