Position: DACH Payroll Implementation Manager

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of the application services department and reporting to the Implementations Director, your primary role will be to support our outsourced clients through the following:

  • Serve as the regional leader (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) for all payroll and time implementation projects.
  • Manage a team of local consultants and contractors as necessary.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new team members.
  • Collaborate with project management teams across various initiatives to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Facilitate lessons learned sessions to enhance future implementations.
  • Work closely with delivery centers to foster a unified team approach.
  • Monitor and control project costs.
  • Assume a dual role by leading the team while also contributing as the Payroll lead on select active implementations.
  • Engage with clients directly, leading workshops and guiding them towards optimal solutions.
  • Ensure the creation of easy-to-manage, error-free implementations while adhering to best practices.
  • Provide regular updates on project status and progress.
  • Maintain effective communication channels with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adhere to project timelines and ensure the successful delivery of assigned implementation work packages.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or a Technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in SAP HCM application implementation is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland is required.
  • Experience participating in 5 or more project rollouts.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality support and implementation in Human Resources.
  • Client-focused with a strong sense of accountability and service orientation.
  • Dedication to the customer, the team, and the project.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in both English and German.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
