Position: DACH Payroll Implementation Manager
Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of the application services department and reporting to the Implementations Director, your primary role will be to support our outsourced clients through the following:
- Serve as the regional leader (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) for all payroll and time implementation projects.
- Manage a team of local consultants and contractors as necessary.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new team members.
- Collaborate with project management teams across various initiatives to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Facilitate lessons learned sessions to enhance future implementations.
- Work closely with delivery centers to foster a unified team approach.
- Monitor and control project costs.
- Assume a dual role by leading the team while also contributing as the Payroll lead on select active implementations.
- Engage with clients directly, leading workshops and guiding them towards optimal solutions.
- Ensure the creation of easy-to-manage, error-free implementations while adhering to best practices.
- Provide regular updates on project status and progress.
- Maintain effective communication channels with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to project timelines and ensure the successful delivery of assigned implementation work packages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or a Technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in SAP HCM application implementation is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland is required.
- Experience participating in 5 or more project rollouts.
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality support and implementation in Human Resources.
- Client-focused with a strong sense of accountability and service orientation.
- Dedication to the customer, the team, and the project.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in both English and German.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
