Position Overview: DACH Payroll Implementations Manager
Key Responsibilities
As a pivotal member of the application services department and reporting to the Implementations Director, your primary responsibility will be to support our outsourced clients through the following:
- Act as the regional leader (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) for all Payroll and Time implementation projects.
- Manage a team of local consultants and contractors as necessary.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new team members.
- Coordinate with project management teams across various initiatives to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Facilitate lessons learned sessions to enhance future implementations.
- Collaborate closely with delivery centers to operate as a unified team.
- Maintain cost control throughout project execution.
- Fulfill a dual role by leading the team while also contributing individually as the Payroll lead on select active implementations.
- Engage with customers directly, leading workshops and guiding them towards optimal solutions.
- Ensure the creation of easy-to-maintain, error-free implementations while adhering to best practices.
- Provide regular updates on project status and progress.
- Maintain effective internal and external communication channels.
- Adhere to project timelines and ensure the successful delivery of assigned implementation work packages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a focus on Business or Technical fields, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in SAP HCM application implementation is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of German, Austrian, or Swiss Payroll regulations is required.
- Participation in at least five project rollouts is expected.
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality support and implementation in Human Resource functions.
- Service-oriented mindset with a strong client focus and accountability.
- Dedication to the customer, the team, and the project.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in both English and German.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding sensitive information.
