Position Overview: DACH Payroll Implementations Manager

Key Responsibilities

As part of the application services division and reporting to the Implementations Director, the primary role involves supporting our outsourced clients through the following:

  • Serve as the regional leader (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) for all Payroll and Time implementation projects.
  • Manage a team of local consultants and contractors as necessary.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new team members.
  • Coordinate with project management across various initiatives in the region to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Facilitate lessons learned sessions to enhance implementation processes over time.
  • Collaborate closely with delivery centers, fostering a unified team approach.
  • Maintain cost control throughout projects.
  • Assume a dual role by leading the team while also contributing individually as the Payroll lead on select active implementations.
  • Engage with clients, leading workshops and guiding them towards optimal solutions.
  • Ensure the creation of easy-to-manage, error-free implementations that adhere to best practices.
  • Provide regular updates on project status and progress.
  • Maintain effective internal and external communication channels.
  • Adhere to project timelines and ensure the successful delivery of assigned implementation tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with a focus on Business or Technical fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in SAP HCM application implementation.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland is essential.
  • Participation in at least five project rollouts.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality support and implementation in Human Resources.
  • Client-focused with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Dedication to the customer, team, and project objectives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in both English and German.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
