As a dynamic and international company, Nickel is accelerating its growth, with over 850 collaborators based in Berlin, Paris, Nantes, Madrid, Lisbon, and Brussels. Since 2017, Nickel has been part of the BNP Paribas Group, one of Europe's largest banking groups.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Sales & Growth Manager to drive the adoption of Nickel's payment solution across Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for launching, developing, and animating the network of points of sale across the country. Our goal is to open 5,000 POS within the next 5 years.
The Sales & Growth Manager will report directly to the CEO of Nickel Germany and be an active member of the German Management Committee. The position requires frequent travel across Germany.
Nickel's points of sale are primarily Lotto Toto shops in Germany, registered as payment agents. We have already identified key distribution partners in Germany, such as ILO Profit, to introduce us to a large number of POS.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the distribution strategy for Nickel Germany;
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives (currently 10);
- Manage relationships with distribution partners;
- Identify new distribution partners and key accounts;
- Develop the Nickel network in Germany by prospecting new POS;
- Train and launch POS;
- Regularly visit POS;
- Define and control key sales indicators;
- Implement an efficient team organization;
- Set and administer an annual sales & distribution budget;
- Present regular results and outlook to Top Management;
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and operation team.
The Sales & Growth Manager will work closely with central teams in France, who will provide necessary support.
Requirements- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales & Distribution Manager/Director or other managerial position;
- Experience in developing and managing retail networks, with direct contact with German stakeholders;
- Knowledge of at least one of the following sectors: Lotto, Pre-paid products, Tobacco, Financial Services, Beverage, or other products sold at retail level;
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills;
- Ability to present, convince, and federate;
- Fluent in German and English.
