Head of Sales Germany

Nickel is seeking a Sales & Growth Manager to drive the adoption of our payment solution across Germany. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and managing retail networks, with a strong understanding of the German market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for launching, developing, and animating the network of points of sale across Germany, with a target of opening 5,000 POS within the next 5 years.
The role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to oversee the sales and distribution department and guide its day-to-day operations.
The Sales & Growth Manager will work closely with central teams in France to provide support and ensure the sustainability of Nickel's operations.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales and distribution management role, with a strong understanding of the retail sector and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
The role offers a competitive remuneration package, including a company car, meal allowance, and company pension plan.
The Sales & Growth Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing the distribution strategy for Nickel Germany;
- Recruiting, training, and managing a sales team;
- Managing relationships with distribution partners;
- Identifying new distribution partners and key accounts;
- Developing the Nickel network in Germany;
- Training and launching POS;
- Performing regular visits to POS;
- Defining and controlling key sales indicators;
- Implementing an efficient team organization;
- Setting and administering an annual sales and distribution budget;
- Presenting results and outlook to top management;
- Being the link between the sales team and the operations team.
