About the Role
As a Regional Technical Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing an excellent understanding of the biological features of our products, as well as coordinating efficacy and crop safety trial programs. You will work closely with our Development Team Leads and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of our field development programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate regional field development programs for active ingredients/products assigned under your area of responsibility, including creation of biology plans, technical objectives, protocols, field data analysis, summary, and presentation.
- Provide advice on portfolio strategy goals and liaise with country & regional portfolio teams, agronomists, research institutes, and influencers to ensure that product concepts and value propositions are based on state-of-the-art understanding of the market.
- Liaise with regional regulatory and data management teams to ensure the preparation of compelling datasets and summaries for decision-making dossier preparation and knowledge transfer.
- Track and communicate relevant competitors' technology developments, identify and champion potential opportunities to differentiate FMC's portfolio and provide value to our customers.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Agricultural (or similar) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an agricultural business or comparable.
- Good understanding of EU BAD requirements and experience in BAD generation.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Europe, especially in peak season, to ensure field trials visits.
